Details of WWRUG
The West Wiltshire Rail Users Group know as WWRUG was formed in 1989 to give a voice to West Wiltshire Rail Users on timetables and level of service and fares on our railway network. Membership is open to all and costs £5 a year ¹ to cover printing and postage. Members receive four newsletters a year and there are four Public Meetings each year three of which are on 'burning issues of the day' and one being the Annual General Meeting. Currently there are over 95 members.
WWRUG is funded by members subscriptions and has no subsidy from any Government Agency or Public or Private Company.
WWRUG has a written constitution. Copies of which may be obtained for the Secretary.
The Committee holds
bi-monthly meetings in different Towns in West Wiltshire for which they
have a representative member from each of Towns in West Wiltshire. They
are listed on our
Committee Members page.
